And strangled her. No pain felt she;

No, no, I am not confessing to a crime, because I have not committed any I am aware of. I am just feeling a bit like Porphyria at the moment. I actually tried to write almost 2 weeks ago and the lovely vagaries of computers, blogspot and my own idiocy killed my message and I was not in the mood to write it anew.

Since then I've been somewhat behind the 8-ball (when am I not?) with school. Due tomorrow is my second English essay. I just finished another chunk of it which is why I am here. I could certainly write more at the moment, but needed a break from thinking about Browning and his poetry. Of course Thursday is our mid-term. I have started that, but being the total idjit that I can be at times, instead of actually writing anything this weekend (or more last week) I thought about it, and thought about it and well... thought about it. In my defense I did some research into my topics to get an idea of what I want to write and I am glad I did at least that much. Being under the gun this week, however, I realize how foolish I was not to actually sit down and write, even the one goal I did set for it I didn't reach.

So why moan about it? Well because I can and I am halfway done with the essay due tomorrow (minus the Works Cited). I am pleased as punch about this. I do hope the last half goes as well. I have one more supporting argument to make. Then time to write the intro and conclusion. Not now I normally write a paper, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Admittedly, it's pretty strange.

It's going to be a busy week with finishing that, the mid-term as well as my Japanese homework. Of course it never seems to end. Next week is Spring Break, which is good, because I'll have plenty of things to do over that period. If nothing else we've got the first third of Joyce's Portrait of the Artist to read. Never having read it, I have no clue how difficult that will be. We are doing speeches in Japanese. So we have to write them, get them corrected, revise them, turn them in and memorize them. That's right, no notes or anything. Zoinks. Should prove to be interesting. I am going to do my on scuba diving I think.

Other things that have to get done this month -- car insurance, car registration (emissions testing, blah!), job hunting (need to get out to Phx and fill out an app at the company that does security for Michael's dental school), and all kinds of other craziness. I suppose I could hit the job on Spring Break, that would give me this week hit the books hard. Alas, the longer I wait, the more debt it seems I accrue. So I do need to get on that, and how.

Well I think I'm going to try and grab a bite before class. Cross your fingers, wish me luck, sacrifce some floppy disks to the disk drive dieties, or whatever it is you do. I'm going to need it.
